Jeddah: General Kamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Staff of the Pak Army, assured Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Friday that Pakistan is committed to the country’ security.
Your commitment to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia and to protect the two Holy Mosques. General Bajwa is visiting Saudi Arabia and met with Saudi Arabian leaders. COAS also summoned Khalid bin Salman, the Deputy Minister of Defense.
“During the meeting, issues of common concern were discussed ,the security situation in the region, including the latest developments in the Afghan peace process,
Bilateral defense, security, and cooperation to promote regional peace and participation.” the Inter-Services Public relations said in a statement issued about the army chief’s meeting with the Saudi crown prince. The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia has recognized Pakistan’s role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
He also said that the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is based on brotherhood and mutual trust, and the two countries will continue to play a role in ensuring peace, stability and improving the conditions of Muslims…
